按更表擔任不同的支援崗位：料理退役或檢疫馬匹、協助出入口馬匹運送及裝卸載、協助馬匹泳池的日常運作及清潔、協助調教馬匹出入泳池及游泳、提供馬匹剪毛服務、晚間巡邏馬房、晨操當值，協助處理走脫或受傷馬匹及幫助受傷人員、於賽事日，賽前協助集合出賽馬匹或協助保持亮相圈進出暢順
